Hi & How to close browser on htc vivid

Newbie here... it said to say hi... so "hi"

I need to find out how to CLOSE a browser window... was using the back button and also tried task manager... but when I open internet... it reverts to last thing I looked at/browsed.... and somehow got myself locked out of chase banking site because it kept trying to log me in (invalidly)...

Please help!

Have you tried the menu button when in the browser, also here is your device forum, so if you have issues, that is the best place to get the proper support for your device, cheers.
