Hi, I need some help finding "Developer options"

DanB12

Hello,
I have the good old Galaxy S.
I'm developing an internet website that should run also on Android.
I browse to the site from wirth my Galaxy S, and now I'd like to debug it.
I've found this tutorial: https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/remote-debugging, but the problem is that I can't activate the "Developer options" on the device.... :(
I went to Settings->About phone and tapped "Build number" seven times
but nothing happens.. "Developer options" just don't appear.
I did it again and again without success.
Do I miss anything here?
Thanks,

Dan

Welcome to AF! :)

I presume the Galaxy S is still on Android 2.x? The method was slightly different on Froyo/Gingerbread. Head to Settings -> Applications -> Development, there should be a few options there.
