Hi all
I don't know if I can help anyone else but I would really appreciate some help in setting up my Galaxy S3. I previously had an HTC Desire. I thought I was saving my calendar and contacts to Google but I appear to have saved everything to the phone. I'm struggling to move everything over the new phone.
I've managed to sync my Facebook contacts to the new phone, and set up my gmail account, which has added some contacts, but no phone numbers (or only those few that people have added to their facebook accounts).
I have one private gmail account and one that is shared for a project I work on. I want the private gmail contacts synced to the Galaxy but not the shared one. I seem to have both lots now stored on the phone, how to I get rid of the the shared account contacts?
Can I move the phone numbers from the HTC Desire to the Galaxy. I have tried to save export to SD card and then import as google contacts but it doesn't seem to be bringing over the phone numbers.
Also which widget/app on the Galaxy will display my Google calendar and Facebook birthdays? The S Planner doesn't appear to show either.
