Hi there,
I'm from Ireland and I've been using android now for a few years - currently a Galaxy S2, but HTC's before that. Much prefer the Samsung models to be honest. This is my first post on the forum - just thought I'd post something I noticed with 4.04 Open Europe Firmware.
I'm not sure many people would have come across this particular bug because most people probably use Swype or the Qwerty keyboard on their Galaxy S2. I use the 4x3 T9 keypad. I've noticed that when texting on it, if I enter a word that isn't in the dictionary and then select the "Add word" option from the drop down, and enter my new word and hit ok/Add word, when it brings me back into the text it doesn't insert my new word in the text message, but the previous word that a selected the "Add Word" drop down from? Prior to the 4.04 update it updated the text message with the newly created word. It's a bit of a pain because it means deleting the previous word and reinserting the new one (which does get added to the dictionary). Did anyone notice this? Is there a way around this - am I missing something? Do you think this bug will be fixed in a subsequent release?
Thanks
Philip
