Hiya and welcome to the site 
I don't have that phone, but I can give you some generic tips that will work for all phones.
1. Turn down the brightness of your display.
2. Change any apps that auto-sync data such as Facebook, Twitter, etc, so that they only sync every few hours, or once/twice a day, or maybe even manually. I have mine set to the manually.
3. Disable 3G when you don't need it by going to Settings > wireless & networks > mobile networks > network mode > and change that option to "GSM only" then change it back to GSM/WCDMA auto when you need 3G.
