Help Hidden Icons Reappear...

Hate to post about such a tiny issue yet, here I am and there you are. (Hey, can't blame me that you guys know your stuff!) Most of the times whether I have to restart, or switch batteries, when I boot back up a good amount of the icons I had hidden reappear and I have to re-hide them again.

If this was my only issue, ever, that I'll ever have with my tech from this point on in my life, lottery considered hit! But as it is, it's somewhat annoying so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong or if it's something that can be fixed... Thanks in advance!
 
Settings aren't sticking, hmm.
Are you using a link2sd type of app at all?
If so, did you link system apps?
If not, do you have an Xposed module changing any locations?

What ROM are you on? If on stock, is this after the update?
Not to sound naggy, but what other info can you provide to help solve the "Case of the Reappearing Icons".
 
Hey sorry for the delay... So no, I'm not using that app, though I am using NextAppSDFix, if that might be similar to the one you asked about. As to linking system apps, I did move some from internal to external memory so that could be something. And I don't believe I have an XPosed module on board. Also no ROM, and was never able to get the update but had read here after asking about it that it's not necessarily that vital.

Either way no naggy, just trying to help me out, so of course your time is appreciated!
