I keep reaching my storage threshold and cannot find and delete the hidden trash/storage files.

Hidden Storage

First go to storage and select the option to free up space or clear cache.
Next this will be time consuming but you will need to go to file manager and go through each file and clear the cache if there are any (I just went through mine and there seem to be alot of useless empty files taking up space)
Photos seem to take up the most storage place. So delete the ones you don't need
