If there seems to be an interest in it, I'm planning to write an application to adjust settings that aren't available in Menu > Settings by default and I'm looking for ideas / requests. So far, some of the things I want to include are:
Tie alarm and media volumes to ringer mode (the option is removed in some phones)
Ringer mode timer (e.g. set to Silent for 2 hours, then go back to Normal)
Auto mount USB when plugged in
Download all file types
'Spare parts' settings
Dialer code shortcuts (only certain phones)
Possibly settings profiles, if it seems like it would be useful enough
Root only options:
SD card cache size
SD card read ahead
Mount /system as rewritable
Get MSL
Reboot to recovery/download mode?
I'd love some suggestions from the community regarding which options they'd like to see. I'm only looking for settings that already exist somewhere in the system, I'm not going to be creating new functionality (unless it's really simple) in this particular app.
