Help hidding Location Icon

Hi Everyone,
I have a samsung galaxy 3. Can I hide the “location” icon in upper home screen (next to wifi icon, when you browse down). Sometimes by mistake I disable it and I want it to be “on” always.

On my S3, if I click the "rearange" icon (3 squares and left/right arrows) at the top right of the Notification Panel, then the "edit" icon (pencil) I can move the Location icon, or any other icon, from the Notification Panel section to the Available section. This removes it from the Notification Panel.
