I have a new Samsung Note 5 (replaced a Note 3) and am trying to turn off all notifications of emails, text messages and other types from appearing on the home/lock screen. I have gone into Settings, Sounds and Notifications, App Notifications, selected the appropriate application such as Email, and made sure the Hide content on lock screen is OFF. The notification still appears although it does not display a portion of the actual message. I am wanting to turn off the entire notification process only as I have specific sounds to alert me and would rather not see any portion of that notification on the home/lock screen.
