Help Hiding (not uninstalling) apps.

I want to remove the icons (but not uninstall the apps) from the screen that you see when you swipe up from the home screen.

I don't want to use the "Hide apps" feature in the Settings...Display...Home Screen menu as that doesn't do what I want - it hides the apps from everywhere.

It seems every other handset has a feature where a long press shows a "remove icon" option. But not this one.

You'll need to install a different launcher, such as Nova launcher from the play store that has this option.
You are hiding the icons for the apps within the "app drawer"..... BTW.

Yes, with Nova you can hide apps in the drawer, and you can also add other tabs to the app drawer where you can put these apps in case you do want to access them via the app drawer occasionally but don't want to see them most of the time.
