Root hindi fonts for a85

hello friends i m not a developer but i have been able to install hindi fonts in xperia x10i. so just wanted to try that on my micromax a85, the procidure i did in xperia was that i just renamed the font and put it in system fonts folder but here i tried same but no sucess any idea what may be reason, hindi fonts are useful when wisiting hindi web sites and reciving hindi sms or reading hindi posts on fb etc, any one wants support that i m here
