[FONT=&quot]The Advanced Development Programs (ADP) division is developing and selling ruggedized Android tablets (ALMEXPADs) to control a new line of vulcanizing equipment. ** ADP is an R&D division looking for creative, self-motivated individuals that like to work closely with members of differing disciplines.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Position Summary[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Responsibilities:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Design, implementation, testing and maintenance of a build system for a custom Linux kernel, firmware and Android operating system[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Merging, versioning and packaging of Operating System and applications[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Lead developers in adopting best practices for source code management[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Develop and maintain build scripts[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Troubleshoot build failures and coordinate efforts to find resolutions[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]Requirements:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Experience building automated test suites[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Extensive knowledge of modifying and building the Linux kernel[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Extensive knowledge of source control management using git[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Experience using scripting languages Shell and Bash[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Extensive experience with C/C++[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to write appropriate documentation suggesting improvements or identifying flaws.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Advanced knowledge of the Linux system (3-5 years experience)[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]- Adaptability to a dynamic fast paced environment[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Hands-on experience with the entire software product development life cycle including build, release and Q/A [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]- Knowledge of embedded hardware and firmware testing (especially with Freescale Cortex CPU)[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Experience with bug tracking software[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Highly motivated self-starter[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Knowledge of Android framework and user-level APIs[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]- Experience using other scripting languages (Perl, Ruby)[/FONT]
