Hmm, after restoring my Spec with the LG updater

and then rerooting, I have had to redo it five more times. It appears that I'm unable to remove OR freeze anything in the V7 ICS update. If I remove, or freeze anything, the phone will not reboot when shut off. Haven't read anything about this, and I can't believe that I would be the only one with this. Perhaps the rollout hasn't hit enough people? As an aside, I can barely make 6 hours without having to recharge the phone. Was the same way straight out of the box. And I barely use it. It sits by the computer at the shop, and makes a half dozen texts during the day. Love the phone otherwise, and ICS does make it a new device practically.

;removing certain things messes with the security lg put in ics.

best way to freeze/debloat is under settings-apps and pick what you want and choose disable... id stick with this method until someone posts a list of whats safe to remove

If I were encountering what you experienced, I'd do the 'factory restore' and rereoot. I might even reflash the cab on the device. It shouldn't reboot when you freeze a system app... I've frozen 20 or so with no issues.
