Holidays missing on google calendar

Just noticed holidays are missing from my Calendar on phone. It syncs everything else from Calendar (the holidays show on my laptop Google Calendar). Everything is set to sync in the Google settings and in the App settings. Can't find anything anywhere about this...

On the calendar app you not only have a list of calendars that are synced but you can choose which of them are displayed. So that would be the first thing I'd check, that the app is set to display that calendar as well as it being synced.

You need to check the box to enable holidays.
