Firstly let me apologize if this topic has been brought up before but i looked over the first 10 pages on a search and could not find a solution.
I recently bought a Cricket GS4 sch-r970c hoping to switch it to Verizon because I am a Verizon customer. I understand that Cricket is now GSM but this phone picks up CDMA and LTE. It even shares the same frequency and bandwith channels as the Verizon version. (at least per specs on Samsung site).
So with this little knowlegde I cut my lte sim card (i currently have a thunderbolt) to micro. The darn thing would not stay locked into the sim holder. Nor be detected. I went to my local verizon and their sim would not stay in.
Here come the questions... are verizon micro sims different from others in build.
I tried two other random sims and they stayed in but not the verizon ones. The spring in holder always kept puching out the verizon sims.
and lastly once i get proper sim and unlock sch-r970c it should work fine right because it uses cdma and lte like verizon. right?
