Holy cow!!!!

Who knows, but the EVO 2 better have Specs like these if not better. I love my EVO and I will love my EVO 2 even more if it meets or exceeds these page burning specs.

Dude.... I knew HTC gave up the Evo before it was even released.... that's bull shit. They never even gave this phone a chance... I ain't buying anything from HTC again after this whole debacle.

What? this phone is a Samsung...and a very awesome looking Samsung at that.

WOW those specs are mind blowing.

Those specs are nice and all, but what about the accompanying battery specs? Or will you have to turn off even more things to conserve battery life with those specs?

Well that phone doesn't have a kickstand. I'll stay with my EVO :P

Well in the picture you cant see the back of it. So who know if does or doesn't. We will see. Its just a rumor. But so was the Evo AKA Supersonic at one point.

Isn't super amoled supposed to be 30% more battery efficient?

Huh? You know rapid product development cycles demand multiple lines be worked on at the same time, right? Would you be surprised to learn the EVO was being developed at the same time the Hero was released? The next phone was in development before the EVO was released. And so it goes.

I was saying that regarding there already being an 'Evo 2' being mentioned a lot recently.

You must be new to this ;) Once we get our hands on a device we're already looking down the road to the next one. I try and only update once a year so I don't have to pay full price... it's not uncommon for people to update every few months to the latest/greatest thing though.

Besides, this is a) nothing but a wild rumor right now and b) not anything you're going to see before next spring/early summer (say, June...) anyway. It's nothing to get worked up over.

Why is everyone surprised? This is what happens in technology. By the end of the week, newer better versions are announced.

I'm not suprised I just want HTC to go full throttle on their next super phone. And I'm sure this Samsung phone will push the envelope.

am i the only one who thinks that's fake? 4GB of ROM? 32GB Flash storage AND a memory card slot? 2GHz processor? Since when did they jump specs by that large of a margin in the smartphone world? Perhaps if they said 1.5GHz, 2GB ROM and 16GB internal storage.... not buying this. There's way too much money to be had by making incremental steps.
