My Acer Liquid Metal phone told me recently that I had exceeded text capacity. On trying to delete some texts, my phone got stuck in the 'manage apps' screen where I couldn't access 'home' screen or anything else. Went thru clearing data/cache when it worked but got so stuck ended up doing factory reset. At the same time, the 'home' button stopped working.
Phone not more than two years old.
Question is:
a) is this a know fault for such phones
b) does text overload damage the phone
c) why won't the home button work any more?
