Help Home Button WorK Around!!!

Is there a way to get the home button to not show apps that i've opened? When I press and hold the home key it pulls up the latest apps that i've opened. The problem is it bypasses the lock code that I have on my text messages and shows the snippet of the the last few people you have texted. This is also the case with other apps/photos/videos. I did the same thing on a friends S2 and all it does is show the name of the app that was recently used. It does not go into the app itself. Why would they change it on the S3 to actually show the activity in the app.

Anyways, does anyone know of a way to disable this or get around it?

Some U/I replacement applications (Launchers) allow for the home button to be re-purposed.I know that HOLO LAUNCHER (HD) PRO allows for this.I'm sure that other launchers allow for this as well.

just remember to always hit the "remove all" button.

I wouldnt consider that a work around. :(

Thanks. It sucks that you have to resort to apps to remove a function that you dont want.
