So what I am asking is instead of the 4 row icons in the app drawer, is there a way to change it to just show a list of your programs? I want a similar look to how we can select an app when trying to put a short cut on our homescreen.

yeah, I believe in pandahome settings there is a drawer area with settings for that.

I read that a lot of Moto Droid users had lots of complaints about the stability of this app on their phones.

This option is available on GDE. I think its default when you install but you can switch with it by pressing the button at the top right of the app drawer.

I discovered a home replacement app that is really cool. It is Crazy Home. It can be found in the market. It is highly customizable.:D

Press the "menu" button while you're in the app list. then press "List." This will change it into a list, which I prefer as well.

I'm guessing this is only for the Eris because it has Sense UI. My Moto Droid does not have that option.
