Home Screen Folder Display/Appearance

I've upgraded my Galaxy S3 (SPH-L710) to Lollipop (5.1.1) using the AICP ROM...
The upgrade was from KitKat (4.4.2)...
With KitKat, when I made a folder of icons on the Home page, each folder's icons were cascaded (overlapping)... With this Lollipop ROM the folder icon shows the first four (4) apps in the folder in a 2x2 grid as miniature icons.

Is this an AICP ROM implementation, or is there a way that I can change the folder appearance preference back to the overlapping icons?

I'm not familiar with that ROM but you can always try a 3rd party launcher that have some options for the looks of the folders like Nova and Action launcher.
