Help Home screen hijacked

For some unknown reason, my home screen changed yesterday to a background image with two bridges and an outer space galaxy type sky. In Settings - Display -, the Home Screen option is greyed out and I cannot select it. I am not aware of any new apps or updates that took place to cause this. How do I get control of my home screen image back?

Long press on an empty spot on your home screen and that should give you the option to change wallpaper.

If that doesn't work, go to settings/apps/in the menu select 'slow system apps/touch wiz/storage/clear data. This will clear everything off your home screen and you'll have to add all apps shortcuts back. But it will not delete anything off your phone.
