How can I improve the loading of home screen/s? Whenever I select the home key to get out of another application,it takes so long for home screen to appear and once it does, it still takes time before I can flip through screens. I am using Go Launcher. Could it be a problem with that application?

home screen/launcher LAGGING ISSUES

It could be a combination of things, one of many could include your launcher. There are a lot of free, great home launcher replacements that you can check out to test. I recommend ADW Launcher and LauncherPro.
