Help Home Screen Problem On ZTE Racer

Hi, i have a problem with my ZTE Racer my home screen has gone all i get is a black screen i can recieve calls and text messages and still have a notification bar. i also still have my unlock screen so its when i unlock it that the problem starts, i can access the ftm screen and the vol+ screen, when i hold the home button down for recent apps all i get is Home Helper (set as default) other than that i can not do anything else with it, Thanks

I've done a bit of research on the issue and a lot of people are saying that it works fine after completing these steps:

- Turn off handset
- Remove the battery
- Place the battery back in again after 5 seconds or so
- Turn on the handset

Please feedback on the results of this, if it doesn't work, we will try to help you further.

EDIT: Also, are you running an alternative launcher such as LauncherPro?

Hi thanks for your work i was using an alternative launcher also i had tried the remove battery steps and reset button but i took it back to argos and told them it was broken so they had a look and just gave me a new one.
