Help Home Screen Shortcut to Recent Calls?

Is there a way to make the phone app default to the recent calls log instead of the dialer?

I got used to the phone button on my Moment going straight to the call log screen (which I use more often to start calls than my contacts) and I want to make the phone button go straight to that screen.

I would also be OK adding a shortcut to the homepage to the call log screen if it is easier to do that than change where the phone icon lands.

I did find a couple of those apps when I was searching the market, but I don't really want the whole list on my home page.

I just want a shortcut to open the recent calls log.
