Home Taping is killing music!

More like they are killing music.. how did you come across this? lol

He probably saw this article and tried to search on youtube...lol

BTW, the 1980 20/20 piece in the link all should watch. It is about how home taping is killing music, and their savior was going to be Music Laser Discs. Part 2, that goes into home taping has been taken down since the video was recently discovered and shared. One of the music companies (that looked bad in the show) did a DMCA takedown notice to google and they took it down. Link to story and 1st video below...

it's why I have no issues whatsoever, in recording youtube videos and making them MP3's on my Droid.

I haven't bought music since 2002-ish... whenever Napster came out, then limewire, now youtube recorder.

I don't have a lot of music compared to some on here, but I have what I want... it was less trouble ripping music from the internet than to rip it from my existing CD's, so even the CD's I had already had, I still re-downloaded them so I'd have them.
