Help Homescreen Bookmarks Not Working

I am having difficulties with home screen bookmarks. I have a bookmark in my browser. I create a home screen bookmark to it. When I tap on the book mark from my home screen, the screen dims a bit and nothing happens.

I had a problem when I first got my Eee Pad. I was doing other things on it and then it suddenly starts working. Tapping on the bookmark would then go to the screen where it asks for which browser I want to use. I select the browser and it works. This morning, I powered my tablet off and back on and the problem came back.

I have the latest Honeycomb update as updating was one of the first things I did. Also, in addition to the stock browser, I have Opera Mobile and Opera Mini installed.

It seems that if I create the home screen bookmark from the home screen, the bookmark fails to launch the browser. If I go to the stock browser and create the home screen bookmark from there, the bookmark launches the menu that allows me to choose a browser and open the page.

I'm thinking that it has something to do with the fact that I have multiple browsers on my tablet. It seems that when I start up my tablet, it gets confused with multiple browsers. I had some difficult launching browsers from other apps after rebooting the tablet. Then after several minutes, it seems to figure things out and then it gives me the option of selecting a browser.

I've begun using the stock browser more. I think I'll give it a chance before using Opera. I use Opera on my phone because I can group bookmarks in folders. The Eee Pad browser has this feature.
