Honda Car Audio

I have a 2017 Civic LX with the entry level radio. How do I connect my S7 Edge via USB like an iPod? It will connect via Bluetooth but I cannot control anything other than the volume. I do not want to have to touch my phone while driving, I want to be able to change artists through the radio controls exactly as I can with an iPod. If there is an app that will allow me to use the Bluetooth to control the file selection I will gladly use it.

If you connect your phone directly using USB, you should get your phone to detect Android Auto in your vehicle and it should prompt you to download the Android Auto app in your phone. Then, every time you get into the car, you can either allow the B2 pairing which allows you to control texts and phone calls via your Honda touchscreen display, or connect your device to your car via USB and then Android Auto should start immediately. In the touchscreen menu, you can select android Auto and access your phone from there. You can access not only your common phone features but also your music.
