Honor 6X Screen timeout

Hello there people !

I just got my new honor 6X and i am unable to set the screen timeout according to my need.

I tried this

Setting - Display - Sleep - 5 minutes

but the screen dims after around 30 seconds  and after few seconds it gets locked.

kindly help if you know how to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Go to advanced settings and then Backup and Reset. Choose Reset All Settings and proceed with the reset. That fixed the screen timeout problem for me.

Your security lock screen probably kicks in after 30 seconds, overriding the display timeout.

Go in settings and off power saving mode in battery section. It will solve your problem
