Hooking up to tv

This all depends on what model and type of TV you have, and if you have WiFi networking at home. With no WiFi you might be able to hook your S5 up directly using a MHL adapter. If you do have a home network in place, with WiFi, but you have an older TV with no HDMI port(s) you can still get that TV on your home network using a Roku (the Roku Express has support for HDMI and the older composite ports). If your TV does have HDMI there are plenty of options like a Roku or Chromecast. But a lot of newer TVs have not just HDMI but also their own integral WiFi and Ethernet port support, so newer smart TVs can be connected to a home network without adding any separate set-top box.
But again, what kind of TV do you have?
