Hoping for some help

Ok this is something I should know, but don't since I don't use pod casts or ever had an Iphone. My friend wants to get the galaxy SII from at&t, this is the question she is asking me and I cannot find a clear cut answer anywhere:

"Is there a way to get podcasts right on the phone? I like iTunes cause I listen to a lot of talk radio podcasts. I can download them whenever I want or just stream from iTunes with my phone.
"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If you mean directly from itunes online store the answer is no. The itunes app only works on iOS. You can however download then on your computer and use a media server or services like spotify or Google music beta to access them from the galaxy phone.

Thank You for your help, just what I needed to know :) And the streaming live, I guess thats web dependent? I mean who is doing the webcast, I'm assuming anything streaming live from Itunes you would be able to stream live from android via the source.

Tversity allows you to stream to your phone but you must properly set up a static ip address on your computer and that's a hassle. On the home network over wifi its an easy connection to Tvetsity. Spotify will upload to the cloud and stream to the phone but its not free as far as I know. Google music beta is also cloud (allows download) and still free but its by invite only.
