Accessories Horizontal leather hip case

Ok, call me old-fashioned or whatever, but I like my phone in a case on my hip, not in my pocket bouncing into my keys/coins/junk. Found one very similar to what I got for my slide, and at the bargain price of $6.93 w/ free shipping I couldn't pass it up. I have no affiliation with the guy, and haven't seen the case yet, so you too can gamble, just like I did. :cool:

If it's what I think it is, it should be a pretty nice case. I like that if you want, you can run your belt through the loops, which will help keep people from reliving you of your phone.
 
please let us know how it turns out to be ... if its good i'll order one asap ... the one that comes with the G1 looks flimsy

I've got one of these for the Nokia I use now. It's a nice case but I would be worried the curved bottom of the G-1 would keep it from fitting.
 
The curve at the bottom is so slight, I can't imagine it causing any problems. I'll let ya know in a few days though! :)
 
Now with pics!

Ordered on the 17th, arrived on the 20th, that's pretty quick service. Case looks nice, stitched well and is sturdy. Looks nice, I could do without the embossing, but I'm not complaining for ~$6. My G1 arrives tomorrow, so I'll post about the fit then.

You can get them for about $5 in New York City from the street vendors.
 
ok so i got the same case locally and its a tight fit at first but it seems to fit well now. I guess it needed time to stretch out a lil bit.

Hey sleebus, i just posted on another thread. I have one like that, and it seems like it might fit the G1, i wouldnt mind sending it out to yah for free. If i aint using it, no reason to have it sitting there. let me know.

Just thought I'd add my two cents..


This case is VERY VERY good. It fits perfectly and luckily the version i bought doesn't have the engraving on it..... it includes belt loops to attach to your belt as well as a belt clip (i use this to attach it to my jeans) which means this case will never fall off..
The magnet is responsive and doesn't feel cheap or anything of the sort.... for the price, this case is insane....

the only problem thusfar is the stitching is already starting to come off, but i don't think it is anything serious, just a few loose threads... and that it doesn't protect well against the rain... (it's raining over here and i have to put my shirt over it, but i mean most cases have exposure of the body of the phone anyways..

either way for 7 bucks.... it's a must have... seriously..
