horrible battery life

I have brand new nexus one. Battery life is awful! It hardly lasts 1/2 day, even when I'm hardly using it. Shows 81% went to display.

I'm wondering if something's wrong. Maybe a bad battery?

The link may help you. But I think battery life is an issue with any smartphone, maybe moreso with the Nexus One.

With performance THAT bad you may want to try something like Screebl Pro (available on Android market). It is specifically designed to help witbattery usage by your screen.
