horror games?

Good morning,

I used to play the likes of Dead Space, Silent Hill, Resident Evil etc on Xbox 360. I don't have the Xbox now but I do have a Nexus 7. Are there any good horror games (free or paid for) that you recommend as gamers? I have looked on Playstore but recommendations vary as do permissions required. I am always worried about the actual games programmers posting lots of good reviews themselves just so they can improve the game rating and get access to your android systems through lots of downloads.

I have heard Eyes is quite good.

Thanks :-) I'll try it. Yeah, I just like them - never got on with platform games, racing etc. I don't play much now as got the nexus for netflix

Looking for a Horror type game? Get the game "DARK MEADOW" It's a free game made by Phospher games, and it's a excellent game!! I could actually it for hours!! But the bad part is that it takes up about 2GB of storage. If you can live with this, then go for it. Let me know how you like it.

Also if you want a RPG type game, Get HORN. Made by the same people, Phospher games. this is another excellent game, but again, takes up about 2GB of storage.
 
Dead Space does have a version on the Google Play store. You don't follow the doings of Isaac so it's a totally original story. Worth a shot if you like the console based games.
 
Horror games... Not a pleasant thing. I wish they were censored in GP. Kids are downloading this stuff.
 
I wouldn't call it horror exactly, but Into the Dead is pretty cool for free. It's a first person free runner type game with zombies.
 
You could try Gods Will Be Watching (dialog based horror survival game) or Killing Moon (point and click retro game with good atmosphere and some good scares) on gameshed. I remember playing both games on that website a few days ago (both games are free). Other honorable mentions on Android:
Eyes (it's like Slenderman, but way better), The Abandoned School (this one almost gave me a heart attack...the gameplay is kinda annoying...you just have to click randomly on things but the jumpscares are amazing ), Dungeon Nightmares (paid but there is an free demo version also) and Murder Room (it's free but it has some nasty bugs)

You can try Murder Room. It's a scary Japanese room-escape title with plenty of frightening moments. This adventure game, played from a first-person perspective, has some of the most complicated puzzles you have ever come across.
