Help Hot spot

Hi, this is my first smart phone. We travel frequently and I wanted to find out if there was a way I could use this phone as a hot spot so that we can connect our laptop to check email, etc when on the road.

It is against Straight Talk's terms of service to do so. It is grounds for them to drop your service.

That aside, in the Google Play Store, there is an app called FoxFi that does what you want.

I second what Jedi said. Foxfi is a fantastic app that worked (sometimes) on my Precedent and everytime on my Proclaim. Oh, I mean... yes it's violating the terms and conditions... so ignore our posts.

Before I rooted my phone, when I tried using the proclaim as a hot spot it would mess my phone up and couldn't access the net on my phone until I did a factory reset.
