Hotmail and active sync, just hanging

When I add account Microsoft active sync and click next after adding my detail the phone does not get past checking incoming server settings.

Any ideas what I can do please?

not yet, im having to use Outlook app which is crazy, cant use outlook with the built in edge features. How come manufactures go backwards with so many features etc, my note 2 was just sorted.

I cant even see which wi fi networks the s7 edge has saved!!!?

think I have managed to get this working, for the server address in exchange on the phone use m.outlook.com not m.hotmail.com like all the guides suggest. I can get rid of the outlook app now I believe and use the stock albeit orange email app. At least the edge functionality will work.

Does it work for you now topar5?

Try outlook.live.com. That was the only one that worked for me.
