Hotmail app not working

First I get a notification telling me I need to re-log in. But every time I enter my password, and hit next, it never goes anywhere. I tried clearing the data, but when I go to reenter my address and password, it keeps telling me its wrong, when i know it isn't. I logged on to my hotmail account easily on my laptop, so I don't know whats wrong.

Mine's either since I installed a 2.3.7 ROM on my Xperia X8.
But there is a folder on your SDcard named "z7logs" where you can try to troubleshoot your problems, I didn't have the time yet, but I will check it out later.

I've looked online for solutions, but haven't found anything useful. Like I said, I can log on to my hotmail account just fine on any computer, but my phone keeps telling me my password or address is wrong (its not) and saying error code 300. I was able to log in to hotmail on my phone through skyfire, but the stupid app still wont work. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing is working. My yahoo and gmail work just fine.

I've not seen a Hotmail App.. is this an official microsoft release?
