Hotspot question

I have unlocked Samsung galaxy s4 active and I'm using T-mobile as my service provider, I would like to now if its possible to use the phone as hotspot, if so what app can I use? Is there a build-in app for this? Phone is not rooted.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.tether will work if you want to pay the $5. (The free version is a 14 day trial.)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mstream.easytether_beta is free, but blocks HTTPS, instant messengers and game console tethering (the pay version doesn't).

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pdanet should work (probably in USB mode for T-Mobile).

I just use the built in feature in settings. Lol.
