I want a suggestion that I am using samsung galaxy as hotspot..is it safe for continuous usage of more than 5-7 hours or do you suggest any particular duration it's safe for usage!!

Uggghhh which galaxy? And I will put it like this if your phone gets too hot it will shut down on its own...I caused a few phones to overheat with tethering...much longer than you are planning on
Should be no danger of harming a phone when using it as a hotspot for prolonged periods. It will probably drain the battery more unless it's plugged in, and watch your data allowance as well, unless you're on an unlimited plan.
