Help How can I access my Nexus 7 tablets?

I have rooted a Kindle Fire and two Android phones so I (wrongly) assumed I would be able to root the two Nexus 7 tablets my son and I just got. I downloaded the Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.3 and clicked on the Full Driver Installation Guide. I was never able to get past that point because it kept telling me the Android Composite ADB Interface was not installed even though in the Device Manager it had changed from Nexus 7 to Android phone with Android Composite ADB Interface under it. I uninstalled and rebooted and tried again for six hours. I tried 29 times. I know because I counted. I downloaded the Nexus 7 drivers from the Asus site as well as downloading the Universal Naked Driver pack. After the 29th time and two hours of tears I gave up. I decided not to root the tablets. That's when I discovered an even bigger problem.

Now when I connect the tablets to the computer I no longer get the window asking if I want to access the files etc. I get the tiny window above the status bar that says "Found New Hardware/Nexus 7" but it immediately changes to "Found New Hardware/Android Composite ADB Interface" and the Found New Hardware Wizard tries to install the Android Composite ADB Interface. It doesn't matter if I let it install or not it still doesn't let me access the tablets. I tried deleting all the drivers I had downloaded since they weren't on my computer when I was first able to access the tablets. I also deleted it from the Device Manager. No luck.

Does anyone know how to put my computer back so we can access our tablets?

What an idiot! I can't believe I didn't think of something so simple! You are my hero! Thanks bunches! It worked perfectly.
