Help How can I control text messages on my Samsung S III on my desktop?

On my Nokia, I used to have PC-Link on my desktop. It worked perfectly.
I am hoping to find something on Samsung that can replicate this.

Never used PC Link but you may want to try MightyText. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it works well (except it doesn't transfer contact names from my phone). Anyone else using something similar that works better than MT?

Are you talking about sending texts on your desktop? Have you heard of AirDroid?

EDIT: I guess this is assuming your desktop can get wireless.

haha I use to have that app with my n95 8gb. Worked amazing. When I switched to android I got this app called "airdroid" works amazing over your WLAN. you open up a browser on your PC, type in the IP address of your phone and the specified port number and voila, you got it!
