How can I delete calendar events

I have a new Galaxy S4 from Sprint. I just synced it with my Google account and accidentally scheduled an event on the wrong day. I want to delete that entry and enter in on the correct day. How can I do this?

Hi welcome to AF.
Go to calender, LONG Click on the event, until it "Highlites" the event, Look around the screen for a Garbage Can Icon. That is Delete!
