Help How can I delete the list of downloaded files that were unsuccessful?

Every time I reboot the phone tells me all of the files that were not downloaded successfully. I tap on them individually to make them disappear, but at reboot they are back again.
I was told to go into files to delete them but I can't see any options to delete unsuccessful download attempts.
Does anyone know if it is possible?
Honor 9 and Oreo

Without knowing which browser you're using this might or might not work. Honestly I've no idea how I get to this setting on mine going through the menus but there's a way to get there. Download something else and while it's downloading pull down the notification and press the thing that's downloading. That'll take me to a different download page compared to the one I see in my settings. For me it contains all the failed/completed/ongoing downloads so you can long press them and delete them.

Hi, I'm not using a browser. I pressed and held on an item downloading and I get the current download, then clicking settings means I get download manager, but there's nothing really I can do there, there's no log of all download successful or unsuccessful. There's just some choices about notifications and ringtone etc. There doesn't seem to be a link to the download manager app either.

You must be using a browser, that's what you use to search the web and download from ie, chrome. Don't press press and hold the downloading item as that's a long press. Just tap it instead ;)

I'm not using a browser, I'm using vplayer which downloads through itself. tbh never tried downloading through a browser so not sure if it would be the same there too
