Either I guess. They are not on the sd card in the phone and I can't find a way to move them to the sd card or to my computer. This one hasn't been used for a few months. Would that make a difference?
Wouldn't make a difference that it hasn't been used. Make sure you have the correct drivers installed the computer. Once the Motorola drivers are installed, connect phone to PC. PC should show phone as an external source. Pictures are in a file called DCIM. You should be able to drop and drag them to where you want, or copy and paste.
That process worked on my other RAZR maxx, but this one doesn't recognize the computer, (or vise versa). Even if I could transfer the pics to the SD card would be OK, but I can't even get that to work.
Is there a way to add apps when it has no service? Nothing happens when I connect it to my pc other than the phone shows that it is charging. When I connect my other maxx to the pc it has windows that open on the pc. (Camera upload, motocast, and backup assist)
If the phone turns on and you can get a WiFi signal, yes, you can get to app store to download apps. When you said "no service", I assumed you meant phone service. ..
What I meant by no service it's my old phone. No longer in service or deactivated, (I'm not sure what they call it for sure,) when I upgraded to a droid maxx. I'll try the app download when I get where there is wi fi.
