Help How can I extend the delay before auto-answer?

My voicemail kicks in and answers the phone after only 3 rings, which is sometimes too quick for me to answer it myself. How can I extend the # of rings?

Try opening your dialer then settings then voicemail settings. Mine is greyed because I have visual voicemail but you be able to access it.

Thanks, but that just shows the dialling number of my carrier's voicemail service. I've looked through the various settings/options and there doesn't seem to be any way to change the delay time. I must be missing something...

i dont think you missing anything ive never seen a phone with that feature

3 rings is approx 5-6 seconds. There are lots of other settings that can be adjusted, and I can't believe there isnt an option somewhere to extend this short response time... :(

Contact your provider, I have done this in the past - they can extend the number/length of time of rings.

It didn't occur to me that this might be a carrier / service provider setting, rather than a phone one. I'll give EE a call tomorrow... no, wait, maybe I should call Orange... or is it T-mobile? Aaarrgh! LOL
