How can I get an older version of Overdrive Media Console for my phone? Currently have v2.1.0.1

Hi everyone,

I used to love Overdrive Media Console for audiobooks but I made the mistake of updating to v 2.1.0.1. It's virtually unusable, as it now takes FOREVER to download just ONE part of an audiobook. I can't tell you exactly how long, because I get so frustrated I just quit the app, but it's at least 15 minutes or more. Before the update, it might take that long to download a book with 12 parts, which was reasonable.

I want to go back to the previous version, but I've been googling like crazy and I can't find it. Can anyone help me out? I'd either like some advice on how to get v2.1.0.1 up to speed or, preferably, find a link to download the previous version. Thanks so much for your help. (HTC Eris).

Dear AMG444,
I saved a copy of ODMediaConsoleV2.1.0.0Setup.apk on my PC. This is the one I am using on my Micro Velocity Cruz Ereader. I don't know if this is the same software you would use on a HTC Eris. But I have no problem with it. APK extension is what you use on Cruz ereader, does this help at all? I could send the file to you if this helps.

Hi Eleanor,

Thanks for your reply and offer to send me the link. However, it sounds like you have the same version that I'm having problems with--v 2.1.0.1. I'm glad you're not having any issues with it. I wish I could say the same!

Again, thanks for your kind offer. Enjoy!
