How can I load Skype?

I have a 7" tablet bought from Amazon UK, as a Tabtech M7; the model number is MID_Serails, and the Android version is 2.2.

I want to load Skype (sound only is OK, not worried about video). Searching the Market doesn't list Skype. On the website market.android.com, all attempts to load using the 'market' options fails to find Skype. All attempts using the 'browser' option lead to a message "There are no Android phones associated with this account" - huh, it's not a phone!

How can I load Skype? All help gratefully received.

Mick

I just searched for, found, and installed Skype about 15 minutes ago on my Android 2.2 tablet. Not sure why you can't find it - I just searched for "Skype" and there it was.

But unlike you, I want video and Skype for Android still doesn't have it, so it's going to be uninstalled soon...

Skype doesn't allow me to download from Android Market as well. But finally, I found the following way to download and install Skype into my HTC Incredible S
1) Install Opera Mini Web Browser
2) Then, go to Settings -> Applications -> tick "Unknown sources"
3) Launch your Opera and click Opera Mobile Store
4) Search for Skype then download and install
5) Once installed, remember to untick the "Unknown sources"

Thanks ssarmazi, but this doesn't work. Skype isn't listed in the Opera Store - I just get MyXenzo when I search. The store seems to think my tablet is a Samsung SGH-E250.
