how can I make calls from pc?

how can I make calls from my pc. I don't want any VOIP service. I want my pc to be able to dial out from my android phone... preferebally without using bluetooth. I want the most reliable way. (through the usb cable?)

The reason for this is, I am making a macro script on my pc, when there is a certain trigger, it will make a call from my android phone... also my pc needs to be able to enter DTHM tones during the call (press 1, press 2 etc...)

Take a look at MyPhoneExplorer (use Google). That will dial out for you but not sure if it'll do exactly what you want.

Thanks for the input Dave. I don't have android phone yet, just wondering if it needs to be unlocked? I will try out your suggestion, once I get the phone.
