Help How can i move my contacts from my android phone to my outlook.com contacts?

I have an android phone with approx 150 contacts stored in the phones memory. I want those contacts to show on my outlook.com contacts as well so they are both synced. I already have my outlook.com email account set up on my phone as 'exchange server', however even though email is working the contacts have not synced onto outlook.com. To compare, I also have a gmail account set up on my android phone and the contacts have synced ie the contacts i have on my phone are also viewable/editable when i log into my gmail account.
