I used ez file explorer to access a hidden file. However when I click on the file it says that it can't be opened. The file is from a photo vault app that I forgot the password to. Is there any way I can open the file, or is there any other app than can open this hidden file for me?

You're going to have to give us more info! 
The fact that it's hidden has no significance, but how the file was created does.
The app you used to create it--password protected, no less--would've saved it in a format that makes it unreadable from other apps, or even the operating system itself.
What's the name of the photo vault app? Please post a link to its Play Store page if possible.
Where is this file located? Please give us its full pathname, which will tell us which directories are involved and what its name is.
